Job Description:

At Ipsen Iberia, we are looking for a RAM based in Bilbao. Following the company's general strategies and the department's guidelines, as well as all work procedures and policies (local and corporate), current legislation, and ethical and deontological codes, as RAM you will be Ipsen's institutional reference in the assigned Autonomous Communities, acting as the company's representative before regional healthcare system decision-makers.
Your main objective will be to guarantee optimal and sustainable access to Ipsen's products, through the definition and implementation of regional Public Affairs and Market Access strategies, the development of valuable relationships with key stakeholders, and transversal coordination with Business Units, Patient Engagement, Medical, and other local teams.
Your main responsibilities will be:
At the regional level: act as a strategic interlocutor before the Regional Ministry of Health, Regional Health Services, and General Directorates, evaluators among others, participating in access and decision-making processes.
At the hospital level: develop valuable relationships with hospital pharmacists, medical directors, management, and other key hospital decision-makers. Understand the decision-making and purchasing processes of key accounts, identifying key decision-makers and influencers.
Present the value proposition of the drugs based on clinical and pharmacoeconomic evidence, aligned with Ipsen's strategy and positioning with clear and convincing arguments supported by evidence aligned with the needs of payers and patients.
Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive strategic plan for each region and key account, working in a transversal and cross-functional manner with the commercial, medical, and market access teams.
Identify opportunities for collaboration and value projects with key stakeholders that contribute to improving the patient journey, training, or other aspects of value. Lead the field execution of Public Affairs plans, including disease awareness and brand-specific access plans.
Participate in the negotiation of contracts, agreements, and purchasing processes at the hospital and regional level.
Monitor the regional healthcare and regulatory environment, providing strategic insights that contribute to the definition of access strategies.
Who are we looking for?
Education
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Health Sciences.
Desirable
Master's degree or postgraduate studies in Market Access, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmaceutical Marketing, or MBA.
Training in Project Management.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Market Access or Institutional Relations.
In-depth knowledge of the Spanish National Health System, especially regional and hospital decision-making. Knowledge and previous experience in the Autonomous Communities under your responsibility.
Experience in negotiation with public administrations, tenders, and value projects.
Previous experience as a Regional Access Manager (highly valued).
