Radiology Technologist

Job Description: Radiology Technologist - Performs QA on images and ensures proper transfer to PACS while electronically completing the exam in a timely manner. Selects appropriate radiation exposure factors using the principles of ALARA. Employs proper radiation safety practices and uses lead protective devices appropriately. Controls access to radiation exposure areas 8-Hour Shifts Monday-Friday (7am-3:30pm) JOB SUMMARY Verifies patient identification and the procedure requested or prescribed, verifies that all necessary information is included in the exam request, and ensures that the exam is properly documented.
