Radiologic Technologists

Washington Regional Urgent Care is looking for experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team in Mountain Home, AR. JOB SUMMARY: This position will perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure, as well as perform Medical Assistant duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. * Performs all radiologic procedures in accordance with physician’s orders. * Positions patients and equipment for prescribed radiographic examinations. * Practices radiation protection techniques, using shielding, and patient protection. * Prepares and administers contrast media as prescribed by a physician. * Evaluates radiographs for technical quality and accuracy. * Maintains adequate records of procedures. * Maintains the cleanliness of the X-Ray room and equipment. * Assists in the maintenance of supplies. * Performs Medical Assistant duties. * Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Must possess ARRT certification or Limited License X-Ray. * Must have current CPR certification. * Must possess basic computer skills. * Must be able to communicate effectively. * Must be able to work as a team member. * Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
