Radiologic Technologists perform imaging examinations, such as X-rays, to assist in diagnosing and treating patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate radiographic equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
