Radiographer

Our client is seeking a Radiographer to join the Cardiovascular Suite team, delivering high-quality imaging support and assisting with interventional cardiovascular procedures, while ensuring compliance with radiology safety protocols to safeguard both patients and staff. Key Responsibilities: Carry out all diagnostic imaging services in compliance with established standards. Verify patient identity before examinations, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols and obtaining the necessary clinical history. Prepare and position patients for examinations, providing explanations of the procedures. Select and operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Assist physicians during interventional cardiovascular procedures, providing imaging support and maintaining sterile techniques. Evaluate images for quality, identifying and troubleshooting technical issues. Maintain accurate patient records, including images and procedural documentation. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including radiation safety and infection control. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions. Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in imaging techniques and protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field. Current registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., ARRT). Demonstrated experience in diagnostic radiography, with a preference for experience in cardiovascular imaging. Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
