About the Role

We're looking for a Radiation Oncologist (SMO) to join a well-established regional service providing high-quality care across a wide range of tumour streams. You'll be part of a collaborative, research-active department that values innovation, education, and multidisciplinary teamwork.

The service is recognised as a training centre for medical physicists, radiation oncology registrars, and nursing staff. You'll be joining a supportive and progressive team with a genuine focus on collaboration, professional growth, and community engagement. The department promotes continuous learning, research participation, and a balanced approach to work and life.

About the Role

• Monday to Friday - no weekends, after hours, or public holidays
• Full-time or part-time options - permanent or fixed term
• Salary above SECA
• 7 weeks' annual leave
• CME and CME time above SECA entitlements
• Relocation package available
• Opportunity for additional earnings
• Accredited Employer - open to overseas applicants
• Full training and ongoing support

About You

• Qualified Radiation Oncologist (SMO) registered with Medical Council of New Zealand or eligible for registration
• Broad experience in general radiation oncology preferred
• Collegial, community-minded, and committed to patient-centred care
