Quantum Control Engineer

The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Quantum Control Engineer to join our team. As a Quantum Control Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and operation of quantum computing systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing control systems to manipulate and measure qubits. Key Responsibilities: * Design and implement control systems for quantum devices. * Develop and optimize control algorithms for qubit manipulation. * Integrate and test control systems with quantum hardware. * Characterize and troubleshoot quantum hardware and control systems. * Collaborate with other engineers and scientists to improve system performance. * Contribute to the development of new quantum technologies. * Document and present research findings. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * Experience with quantum computing or related technologies. * Strong understanding of control systems, signal processing, and electronics. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Qualifications: * PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * Experience with superconducting or trapped ion qubits. * Experience with FPGA programming. * Experience with cryogenics and low-temperature electronics. * Familiarity with quantum information theory.
