Quantity Surveyor (Roadworks)

Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in roadworks to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quantity surveying process for roadworks projects, including estimating, cost control, valuation of work done, and final account preparation. Responsibilities: - Conduct cost estimates for roadworks projects, including material costs, labor costs, and equipment costs - Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays - Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports - Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery - Manage and coordinate the work of other quantity surveyors and support staff. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field - Minimum 5 years' experience in roadworks quantity surveying - Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
