Quantity Surveyor

Job title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Cape Town Job Overview: Hire Resolve's client, a small construction company with loads of experience in the industry, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cape Town. The company is building a reputation of high quality and achievements in high end residential houses with 3 build teams doing 2-4 jobs at any given time. The company has a good reputation for renovating old buildings, and often work these contracts. The company has an established track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This includes preparing tender documents, negotiating contracts, monitoring project costs, and ensuring that all projects are completed in accordance with the agreed-upon scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, and at least 3 years' experience in the construction industry. A professional qualification such as a PRINCE2 or NEBOSH certification would be advantageous.
