Location: Worthing (Mon & Fri office-based, 2–3 days on site, remainder hybrid)
Salary: £40,000–£60,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of MorganCarr, a vibrant construction consultancy delivering fast-turnaround fit-outs and refurbishments in hospitality, leisure, and creative sectors. Projects are short-cycle and often live, meaning the space continues to operate while transformation happens.

This role is Quantity Surveyor first — strong cost planning, procurement, valuations, and final accounts — with additional project management exposure. You will typically manage 3–5 projects at a time across London and the South East.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and cashflows

Lead procurement and tendering (subcontractors & direct packages)

Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts

Support programmes/schedules to ensure on-time delivery

Attend sites 2–3 days per week to monitor progress and quality

Build strong client and contractor relationships

Work with JCT contracts in live environments

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (fit-out/refurbishment)

Cost planning, procurement, and contractual knowledge

Confident communicator able to manage multiple projects

IT literate (Microsoft Office + QS software)

Full UK driving licence

Desirable

Hospitality, leisure, or creative sector experience

RICS or CIOB membership (or working towards)
