Q Task Force Leader/ Central QS

Entry level: Professional | Employment type: Full-time | Team Quality | Location: Timisoara

The tasks:

Build, lead and manage the Task Force Team, ensuring the team has the required competencies, resources and capacity to support new projects, new plants and critical escalations.

Establish and implement Quality Setup for new projects and plants, ensuring that all required quality processes, standards, tools and controls are defined and implemented.

Ensure process readiness and compliance by establishing clear workflows, responsibilities, control mechanisms, KPIs and escalation paths.

Support the launch of new projects and plants, from the initial preparation phase through SOP and stabilization, ensuring that quality requirements are implemented on time.

Provide Task Force support during critical quality escalations across plants and projects, taking a hands-on approach to problem solving, containment and stabilization.

Analyze root causes of quality issues and coordinate the definition and implementation of sustainable corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate cross-functional activities with Quality, Production, Engineering, Logistics, HR and other relevant functions to ensure effective implementation of actions.

Develop, implement, evaluate training concepts for local quality teams, management and shop-floor employees to ensure understanding and sustainable application of quality processes and tools.

Standardize and deploy best practices across plants and projects, ensuring that successful solutions are transferred and implemented where applicable.

Monitor the effectiveness of implemented measures through defined KPIs, audits, process reviews and regular performance follow-up.

Establish clear handover and exit criteria for Task Force activities, ensuring that responsibility is transferred to the local organization only after the required level of stability and process maturity has been achieved.

Report the status of Task Force activities to management, including risks, progress, open actions, required resources and escalation topics.

Build and continuously develop the Task Force Team, including competence development, coaching, workload planning and performance management.

Act as a quality transformation and stabilization driver, ensuring that Task Force interventions result in sustainable improvements rather than short-term containment.

Core responsibility:

The Task Force Team Manager is responsible for building, implementing and stabilizing Quality Systems and Processes in new projects/plants and providing rapid, structured support during critical quality escalations until sustainable ownership is established within the local organization.

Training through Buddy approach.

Check, evaluate internal Q organization / re-organization.

Support with escalations.

Mandatory starting conditions:

Bachelor degree in Quality at a related technical field.

5+ years experience in Quality management/Quality Assurance field (Kroschu experience counts as well)

Experience leading cross-functional teams or taskforces.

Strong knowledge of Quality Management System and relevant automotive standards such as IATF 16949, VDA 6.3

Solid experience with quality problem solving tools: 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, FMEA.

Ability to analyze Quality KPI, defects and non-conformities and customer complaints.

Experience developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions plans.

Travel flexibility : high readiness, up to 70%, for spontaneous on site international travel.

Strong communication skills. Fluency in English is a must, additional languages are a plus.
