Quality Manager

Job description

Job Title: Quality Manager Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico (On-site) Position Overview We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive quality standards. The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing plant quality performance, managing quality teams, supporting customer and supplier quality activities, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of quality principles and methodologies. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive quality standards. • Lead and manage quality teams to achieve plant quality performance goals. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that reduce defects and improve efficiency. • Support customer and supplier quality activities, including audits and assessments. • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure their quality requirements are met. • Analyze and interpret quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Develop and present quality reports to management and other stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive industry. • Strong understanding of quality principles and methodologies, including ISO 9001 and TS 16949. • Excellent leadership and communication skills. • Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Experience with quality management software and tools.
