QUALITY MANAGER - PLANT TG. MURES

 We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Quality to lead and develop our quality management systems across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of product and process quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

               The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and deep expertise in quality assurance within automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Quality department and team
• Define and implement the company’s quality strategy aligned with business objectives
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards IATF 16949 and other Certification Bodies
• Oversee internal and external audits, certifications, and customer requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage supplier quality, internal quality and customer quality performance
• Analyze quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting to senior management
• Ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
• Promote strong quality culture across all departments

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, including leadership roles
• Proven experience in automotive industry, harness business is a plus
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (FMEA, APQP)
• Experience with audits and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Fluency in English (German language is a plus)
