Quality Lead - Projects

About the role
We’re on the lookout for two Quality Project Leads to join our team and play a key role in shaping major projects that deliver world-class nutrition across the globe.
In these roles, you’ll partner with project teams to ensure projects meet the highest Food, Safety and Quality standards. This is a hands-on, influential position where your experience in food safety and quality will directly drive project success and business impact.

What you’ll be doing
You will build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. Whether you’re guiding project managers, collaborating with engineers, or engaging with regulatory stakeholders, you communicate clearly and bring people along the journey with you.
- Leading Food, Safety and Quality initiatives that shape the future of our products
- Be the go-to expert, guiding project teams through RMP, HACCP, regulatory, and change control requirements
- Identifying project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and make informed Food Safety and Quality decisions under tight deadlines
- Conducting HACCP reviews, update documents, and support submissions to AQ/MPI
- Taking ownership of FSQ risk assessments and project feasibility deliverables
- You will be build strong connections across teams, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
- Developing FSQ capability within project teams and champion continuous improvement
- Coaching project teams on processes, regulatory expectations and best practices
- Driving alignment between Food, Safety and Quality priorities and broader business objectives to achieve project success
- Facilitating workshops, briefings and sign-offs for critical project decisions
About you
You thrive on variety, juggling multiple projects with precision and solving problems with practical, smart solutions. You communicate with influence, bring people along and ensure things get done right the first time.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- A tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Science or Engineering required
- Extensive experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years in dairy experience, ideally in infant formula
- Strong relationship-building, communication and influencing skills
- Ability to juggle priorities, diagnose problems quickly and execute right first time
- Strong RMP and HACCP management experience
- Skilled across Word and Excel
