With 1,400 employees, Alstom's La Rochelle site is one of our 15 industrial sites in France. It is the global center of excellence for designing and manufacturing Very High-Speed Trains and Citadis tramways.

Apart from being part of the Certification and Validation team, you will be attached to the Laboratory Responsible for Physical Testing. You will be part of a passionate and inventive team that you can rely on.

Your Future Responsibilities:

Ensure quality and document control throughout the testing cycle in accordance with the laboratory's quality management system and applicable standards.

Ensure liaison with the site's quality system.

Develop and ensure preservation of external recognitions (ISO 17025, IRIS).

Implement, manage, and continuously improve the laboratory's quality system following applicable standards and management direction.

Schedule and close the quality plan resulting from audits and examinations.

Manage documents related to the laboratory's quality management system (manuals, instructions, operational procedures, methodologies), in liaison with the site's quality system. Prepare reviews for management, laboratory audits with the lab chief.

Ensure surveillance and audit of measurement equipment and testing means.

Promote reusing existing documents and quality procedures within the certification and validation personnel.

Schedule laboratory test plans.

Ensure administrative follow-up on laboratory purchases.

Profile:

You have a successful first experience in quality (minimum 2 years of experience in the railway, health, defense, aerospace, or automotive sectors).

Mastery of testing standards (ISO 17025), methods, tools, and means.

Mastery of English - read & written.
