Quality Head (Cast Iron / SG Iron Automotive Castings)

Company Description We manufacture Grey Iron and Ductile Iron automotive castings and produce fully machined components for the automotive, tractor, and heavy equipment industry. Our operations include in-house foundry, CNC machining, and final inspection for domestic and export customers. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Head – Foundry & Machine Shop , located in Agra. The Quality Head will have complete ownership of quality systems across both: Cast Iron / SG Iron Automotive Castings. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all products and processes, including but not limited to: product design, material selection, manufacturing process control, inspection and testing, and final product acceptance. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing quality policies, procedures, and standards. • Conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. • Identifying and addressing non-conformities and corrective actions. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues. • Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality-related matters. • Maintaining accurate records of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions. • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality expectations are met. • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance. The ideal candidate should have: • A Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field. • Strong understanding of quality management principles and practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience working in a foundry or manufacturing environment is desirable.
