Quality Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer (m/w/d)

An esteemed client is a successful, growing company in the field of Consumer Electronics with strong brand focus and international supply chain. The products combine Hardware, Electronics, and Design and are sold worldwide. Quality is not understood as a control instance, but rather as an integral part of product development.

Aufgaben

• Product-related quality support from new developments to series
• Tight collaboration with Development, Procurement, and external suppliers (especially in Asia)
• Application and moderation of FMEA (Design & Process)
• Control and follow-up on 8D processes in case of quality deviations
• Analysis of error patterns, derivation, and implementation of sustainable corrective measures
• Participation in test concepts, risk analyses, and quality releases
• Satisfaction of quality requirements along the supply chain
• Support for certification and conformity issues (e.g. CE, EMV, product safety)
• Active development of QM structures and processes

Qualifikation

Technical background, e.g. Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable

Multiple-year experience in Quality Management or Supplier Quality in the hardware/electronics field

Very good knowledge of FMEA and 8D (practically applied)

Experience in collaboration with international suppliers

Product- and solution-oriented working style ('Hands-on' mentality)

Structured analytical ability and clear communication

Safe English in writing and speaking

Nice to have:

Experience in the field of Consumer Electronics

Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Test Planning

Contact with Certifications / Standards (CE, EMV, RED etc.)
