Quality Engineer Automotive Product Development (w/m/d)

For almost two decades, here, control units and lighting systems have been developed for renowned premium manufacturers, exclusive special series, and leading motorcycle brands. At several locations – headquarters and production in the Munich metropolitan area as well as another branch in Southern Europe – around 130 employees work together closely. Tasks

• Quality assurance in the development process – from concept phase to series maturity
• Creation of FMEAs and responsibility for product and process quality (PPAP/PPF)
• Qualitative support for software projects according to ASPICE
• Conducting and accompanying Quality Gates, as well as further developing processes within the framework of ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity
• Monitoring quality requirements, error analysis, and defining and implementing improvement measures
• Processing customer complaints during the development phase
• Release of design and product validation, including presentation and representation of results to customers

Qualifications

• Techical degree or equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of professional experience in the automotive field
• Very good knowledge of ASPICE (up to CL3), quality management, and relevant standards
• Familiarity with QM tools and methods, particularly FMEA, PPF, and PPAP
• Knowledge of hardware, electronics, and software in the automotive context
• Experience in process planning and optimization
• Analytical, structured, and self-responsible working style
• Excellent communication skills and negotiation abilities
• Safe handling of German and very good English language skills
