Tasks

• Development and continuous maintenance of a test strategy (Test Pyramid, Quality Gates, Definition of Done) in close collaboration with Product & Development.
• Conceptualization, implementation, and maintenance of automated tests on UI-, API-, and integration levels, including writing test code in the respective main language.
• BUILDING/EXTENDING TEST FRAMEWORKS AND TOOLING AS WELL AS OPTIMIZING TEST STABILITY AND -RUN TIMES
• Conducting API-, data-, and system tests, setting up test data, mocking/stubbing, and checks for data integrity/migrations.
• Exploratory/risk-based testing of new features as well as active support for release readiness and post-release quality (Monitoring, RCA).
• Sparring partner for Dev teams on test design, automation, and observable architecture.

Qualification

• You have a completed education in application development or bring an completed technical degree with you.
• You bring at least 2-3 years of experience in test automation.
• You have practical experience in dealing with REST-based web services.
• You possess basic knowledge in dealing with and developing JavaScript or C#.
• Ideal would be good knowledge in developing REST-based APIs.
• You master German and English fluently in writing and speaking.
• You have a quick understanding ability and enjoy constantly developing and learning new things.
• A meticulous, self-reliant, and team-oriented work style rounds out your profile.
