Quality Engineer

Overview

The Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. They are responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting thorough product inspections, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing processes, thus contributing to our overall success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality standards and inspection processes
• Perform product and process audits to identify non-conformances
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues
• Analyze data to support process improvements and reduce defects
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts
• Participate in the development of new products and process designs
• Conduct supplier quality assessments and ensure compliance
• Train, coach, and mentor employees on quality methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Certification in Quality Management or Six Sigma is preferred
• Proven experience in quality engineering or a related role
• Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
• Detail-oriented with a focus on driving results
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in data analysis and statistical techniques
