Quality Coordinator (m/w/d) | Aviation Quality & Compliance

We are seeking a personality who thinks quality structured and makes it operatively tangible. The focus is not on abstract quality management, but on actual impact: audits, supplier processes, deviations, training, and standards that hold what the certificate promises.

The Hamburg location forms the central interface to Engineering, Operations, Supplier Management, and Certification. You will work closely with project leaders and operational teams and be both in the office and temporarily in production or testing environments. English is everyday language, as suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders are internationally established.

Aufgaben

• Conducting quality control checks (spot-checks, inspections) along running orders in the aviation context
• Planning, conducting, and accompanying internal and external audits according to EN/AS 9100 and EASA Part 145
• Ensuring compliance with the quality management system including document and process maintenance
• Creating, evaluating, and tracking corrective and preventive measures (CAPA) until completion
• Training and education on quality-relevant topics (processes, standards, deviation management)
• Maintaining the supplier portfolio and monitoring quality-related supplier performance
• Support in complaint management, including analysis of deviations and structured feedback
• Creating and releasing quality-relevant process documentation (workflows, process descriptions, inspection plans)
• Maintaining the Quality Management Software (data maintenance, evaluations, reports)

• Reporting: Quality Leadership / QM-Management
• Tools & Standards: EN/AS 9100, EASA Part 145, CAPA, Supplier Quality KPIs, QMS/ERP environment

Qualifikation

• Completed commercial or technical education with a quality focus
• Multiple years of experience in quality management in industries with norm or certification pressure (ideally aviation)
• Solid knowledge of relevant aviation standards or willingness to quickly get up to speed
• English secure in word and writing (suppliers and documents)
• Able to analyze complex deviations calmly and pragmatically resolve them
• Familiarity with MS Office and ideally QMS software
• Structured working style, clear communication, and proactive attitude
