Quality Control Technician

Job description

Ventós – We are an international company dedicated to the distribution and production of essential oils and aromatic chemicals. Our corporate headquarters is located in Sant Just Desvern and we have subsidiaries in France, Brazil, China, Mexico, Colombia, Singapore, and USA. At this moment, we need to incorporate a Quality Control Technician for our subsidiary in Tlalnepantla, Mexico. Responsibilities: Ensure the quality control of raw materials and finished products through analysis and testing, as well as maintain accurate records of all tests performed. This includes but is not limited to: - Conducting routine inspections of production lines and equipment to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures. - Performing chemical and physical tests on raw materials and finished products to verify their quality and purity. - Maintaining accurate records of all tests performed, including results and any corrective actions taken. - Collaborating with other departments to resolve any issues related to product quality or production processes. - Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline. - 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the essential oils or aromatic chemicals industry. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret test results and make informed decisions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly. - Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulations, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.
