Quality Control Scientist, Microbiology

Location : Tuas Biomedical Park (company transport provided islandwide) Job Responsibilities Understand and comply with GMP requirements, laboratory procedures, and controlled documentation. Perform microbiological testing activities, including but not limited to bioburden, endotoxin, pH, growth promotion tests, conductivity, TOC, nitrate testing, and other microbiological or chemical assays in accordance with cGMP and internal SOPs. Receive laboratory samples, perform testing, conduct plate reading, and maintain accurate and complete laboratory records. Prepare and standardize reagents, media, and solutions. Perform routine laboratory equipment maintenance. Participate in laboratory investigations and troubleshooting. Perform data entry and analysis. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biology or related discipline. Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology laboratory. Knowledge of cGMP and laboratory safety practices. Experience with microbiological techniques such as aseptic techniques, Gram staining, and microbial identification. Experience with laboratory equipment such as autoclaves, incubators, and microscopes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Good documentation practices.
