Position Overview Space Industries S.p.A., a leading aerospace company specializing in the assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) of small satellites , is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our team. The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the required quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities * Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures. * Conduct inspections and tests of products and materials. * Identify and resolve quality issues. * Analyze data and prepare reports. * Collaborate with other departments to improve quality. * Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. * Manage non-conformances and corrective actions. * Participate in the continuous improvement of quality processes. * Support the definition of product specifications and requirements. * Review and approve technical documentation. * Participate in the investigation of anomalies and failures. * Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of purchased components. * Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in quality control, preferably in the aerospace industry. * Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100). * Familiarity with inspection techniques and testing methods. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience with statistical process control (SPC) is a plus. * Experience with AIT processes is a plus. * Knowledge of space industry standards and regulations is a plus. * Ability to travel as required.
