Quality Assurance Specialist

As a QA Specialist, you are an important link within our Quality Team. You actively contribute to maintaining and further developing our quality systems and support the organization in complying with GMP, FSSC 22000, and ISO requirements. With your critical eye, analytical ability, and improvement-oriented mindset, you help make our processes a step better every day.

You will work closely with colleagues, especially from QC, to ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement within the organization.

What will you do?

• Advise the organization based on data and process analyses to continuously improve quality performance.
• Maintain and optimize the quality management system.
• Coordinate and prepare the annual management review.
• Initiate, guide, and follow up on internal and external audits.
• Manage deviations, complaints, CAPAs, and improvement actions.
• Review and manage changes and perform risk analyses.
• Perform trend analyses and translate findings into improvement measures.
• Identify quality risks and proactively initiate improvements.
• Collaborate closely with QC in reviewing analysis results, deviations, quality risks, and improvement initiatives.
• Act as a sparring partner for QC and Operations regarding quality issues, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Support supplier qualifications and monitor supplier performance.
• Support validation and verification activities of processes, systems, and methods.
• Manage quality documentation in Manual Master.
• Support improvement projects within the organization.
• Provide quality training and contribute to quality awareness within the organization.
• Release products in accordance with GMP, FSSC 22000, and ISO 9001 requirements.

Requirements

• A relevant HBO degree (Bachelor's degree).
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience within the (process) industry.
• Experience with quality management systems, audits, deviation management, and CAPAs.
• Experience with Change Control, risk analyses, and continuous improvement programs.
• Experience with trend analyses and working with quality KPIs.
• Knowledge and/or experience with GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FSSC 22000.
• Experience with a document management system, preferably Manual Master.
• Experience with Power BI for data analysis and reporting is a plus.
• Knowledge of validation and qualification processes is a plus.
• Experience with root cause analyses (e.g., 5 Why's or Fishbone) is a plus.
• An independent work attitude, ownership, and a pragmatic approach.
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.

What do we offer?

• Salary between € 4,700 and € 6,000 gross per month with 8% holiday allowance and 13th month, depending on the candidate's experience;
• ▪ holiday days - 25 days,
• 25 vacation days per year.
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
