Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/d) E-Commerce Image Production

Doopic is a Berlin-based company for professional image editing and content production in e-commerce. We process large volumes of product and fashion content daily for renowned national and international clients.

We combine classic image editing with modern, AI-supported processes and work with an international network of specialized graphic designers and production teams.

To strengthen our team in Berlin, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/d) with experience in professional image editing and a keen eye for detail.

Tasks

As part of our Quality Assurance Team, you will ensure that our image and content material meets the individual requirements of our clients. This goes beyond classic quality control: our production processes are increasingly evolving towards AI-supported workflows, automated image processing, and new content services.

Your tasks will include in particular:

• Quality control and evaluation of professionally edited images from our ongoing production
• Checking results against customer-specific requirements, briefings, and quality standards
• Reviewing and pre-selecting image material for our clients - e.g., selecting suitable motifs from larger image quantities based on defined criteria
• Contributing to AI-supported workflows for image selection, editing, and content refinement
• Applying and further developing such workflows in daily operations
• Refining and optimizing image material as well as performing minor corrections and adjustments in Adobe Photoshop
• Identifying and documenting errors, and forwarding correction requirements to our international production teams and freelancers
• Creating, maintaining, and further developing customer-specific guidelines and quality specifications
• Direct coordination with clients on questions regarding image quality, requirements, guidelines, and production results
• Close collaboration with our Quality Assurance and Operations team in Berlin
• Identifying recurring quality issues and supporting the continuous improvement of our production and QA processes

Qualifications

For this position, we are explicitly looking for someone with professional experience in image editing, image processing, or digital content production.

Ideally, you bring with you:

• Professional experience in professional image editing, retouching, post-production, or a comparable field
• A very good understanding of image quality, retouching, visual language, and visual details
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with e-commerce content as well as product, fashion, or lifestyle imagery is an advantage
• Interest in AI-supported image editing and new technologies, as well as the willingness to actively engage with new tools and workflows
• Experience in direct customer contact and a confident, professional demeanor in communication
• The ability to understand, categorize customer requirements and feedback, and translate them into concrete quality specifications for production
• A very good eye for detail and the ability to work concentrated, efficiently, and carefully, even with large image volumes
• A structured, reliable, and independent way of working
• Good English skills for collaboration in our international production environment
• We require good German skills for professional communication with our clients

• An employment contract initially limited to 12 months, which will be made permanent after the second year
