Job description

We are looking for an experienced developer to join our growing company - Remote - nationwide. As a Quality Assurance Engineer (w/m/d), you will develop and implement test strategies and plans to ensure the software quality of our Arbeitsmedizin-ERP-System "medigini", customer portal, and other applications from the field of Arbeitssicherheit. You will create and conduct manual and automated tests, collaborate with development and product teams to review requirements and specifications, ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the entire development process, analyze and report test results, and derive improvement suggestions and continuous improvement of test processes and methods.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer (w/m/d), your tasks will be:

  • Development and implementation of test strategies and plans to ensure software quality of our Arbeitsmedizin-ERP-System "medigini", customer portal, and other applications from the field of Arbeitssicherheit.
  • Creation and conduct of manual and automated tests.
  • Collaboration with development and product teams to review requirements and specifications.
  • Surety compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the entire development process.
  • Analyzing and reporting test results, deriving improvement suggestions, and continuous improvement of test processes and methods.

Your starting requirements will be:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of quality assurance, software testing, or as a QA engineer.
  • Fundamental knowledge in creating and conducting test plans and test cases.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, JUnit, Vitest, TestNG) and test management tools (e.g. JIRA, TestRail).
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, Rust) and scripting languages (e.g. Typescript).
  • Teamwork skills, independent working style, and a high level of problem-solving ability.
  • Very good German language skills (at least B2) and negotiation-safe English language skills.
