Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee the overall testing approach and related processes, ensuring they are consistently applied and suggesting improvements where needed.
• Take the lead in introducing and integrating test automation frameworks, performance evaluation tools, and business/functional monitoring solutions. Provide guidance on their proper usage and coach team members on best practices.
• Act as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders, fostering clear communication and promoting effective collaboration across the team.
• Capture, formalize, and share best practices in software testing, ensuring continuous knowledge transfer and skill development within the team.

Must-Haves

• Solid hands-on experience with test management solutions (e.g., Xray).
• Deep understanding of various testing approaches and methodologies, including:
• • Unit and integration testing
  • Functional validation (smoke, regression, user acceptance)
  • Non-functional validation (performance, security)
• Proficiency with modern test automation tools (such as Playwright, Cypress, Karate, Gatling, k6, JMeter, or comparable solutions).
• Strong programming background with languages like Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Proven experience setting up automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Git, Docker).
• Previous work within QA organizations, with solid exposure to test governance and quality processes.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Nice-to-Have

• Prior involvement in agile environments with hands-on experience in agile testing practices.
