The Role As a Quality Assurance Engineer at SmartQ, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test suites to identify and resolve software defects. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test suites. Identify, document, and track software defects. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing. Collaborate with the development team to resolve software defects. Participate in the review of requirements, specifications, and design documents. Develop and maintain test automation scripts. Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and technologies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles. Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Nice to have Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
