Quality Assurance Engineer, IES LATECH & GIS

Description The Amazon IES LATECH & GIS is hiring QA Engineers to work in our Software Development Center in Sao Paulo. The IES LATECH & GIS team builds International extensions and new features of the Amazon.com web site for individual countries and creates systems to support Amazon operations. We have already worked in Germany, France, UK, India, China, Italy, Brazil and more. In this role, you will: - Be responsible for manual and automated testing of features across various platforms including web, mobile and backend services - Work with development and product teams to understand requirements and design test strategies - Write and execute test cases, analyze results, and identify defects - Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and tools - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality - Collaborate with other QA engineers to ensure the quality of our products - Participate in the definition and implementation of automated tests - Provide accurate and timely reports on the quality of our products - Develop, maintain, and execute test automation scripts - Identify and document software defects - Work in an Agile environment Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - Proven experience in software testing - Experience with both manual and automated testing - Experience with test case design and execution - Experience with defect tracking and reporting - Experience with Agile development methodologies - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience with web, mobile, and backend services testing - Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) - Experience with programming languages such as Java or Python - Experience with version control systems such as Git - Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) - Fluent in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken) Preferred Qualifications - Experience with performance testing - Experience with security testing - Experience with accessibility testing - Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS) - Experience with internationalization and localization testing
