Job Summary The Reliability Test Lab Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing reliability tests for new and mass-production products in the Reliability Test Laboratory. This role ensures product reliability through environmental, mechanical, and ongoing reliability testing (ORT), supports failure analysis, manages test equipment, and meets customer requirements. Key Responsibilities 1. New Product Reliability Testing Develop and execute reliability test plans and verification procedures to ensure product reliability for new products. Conduct reliability tests on new products in the Reliability Test Laboratory, including environmental testing, mechanical testing, and ongoing reliability testing (ORT). Analyze test results and identify potential failures or defects. 2. Mass Production Product Reliability Testing Plan, execute, and analyze reliability tests for mass-production products to ensure product reliability meets customer requirements. Conduct reliability tests on mass-production products in the Reliability Test Laboratory, including environmental testing, mechanical testing, and ongoing reliability testing (ORT). Analyze test results and identify potential failures or defects. 3. Failure Analysis Support failure analysis activities by analyzing test data and identifying root causes of failures or defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions and implement changes to prevent future failures. 4. Test Equipment Management Manage test equipment, including calibration, maintenance, and repair. Ensure test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to ensure accurate test results. 5. Customer Requirements Meet customer requirements by ensuring product reliability meets specified standards and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in a reliability testing role. Strong understanding of reliability testing principles, methods, and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Certification in Reliability Testing (CRT) or equivalent is preferred.
