Quality Analyst

Who you will work with?

You will be part of the Manufacturing Quality team, within the structure responsible for Quality at the Contagem/MG plant.

How you will make a difference?

As a member of the Manufacturing Quality team, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring correct orientation and support to the manufacturing team, following specifications, technical drawings, and process instructions for assembling Wabtec products.

- Providing technical support to the Engineering, Services, Maintenance, and Materials teams in evaluating and treating process-related failures;

What we want to know about you?

Completed or ongoing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production, or equivalent.

Advanced English

Knowledge of locomotive systems and experience in manufacturing processes.

- Ability to write, use correct Portuguese language, synthesis capacity;

- Having a focus on results, demonstrating discipline, diligence, and regularity in delivering demands;

- Ability to use computer systems;

- Possess clear and direct communication. Ability to speak publicly and conduct training sessions;

- Having a good professional posture, showing availability and openness to discussions, respecting colleagues at work;

- Being proactive in routine, proposing initiatives for problem-solving and seeking necessary resources through articulation with interface areas;

- Having good energy to question the current manufacturing process and propose improvements, as well as resilience to sustain them.

What will your daily life be like?

- Providing support to the team and leadership of Manufacturing, orienting and solving any doubts related to the application of productive processes and quality.

- Conducting final inspections on locomotives as part of the ICP (customer perception inspection) process, assisting in detecting failures for continuous improvement and presenting products that are increasingly satisfactory to customers.

- Accompanying and supporting the Field Engineering team in solving problems identified in locomotives in operation.

- Conducting failure analysis and finding the root cause of components that may present non-conformity in their functioning and/or use.

- Ministering training/orientations to manufacturing teams through quality alerts and lessons learned.

- Conducting internal audits and analyzing non-conformities related to processes and products, identifying the problem, defining the root cause, proposing and following up on action plans, as well as disseminating results to the Manufacturing and Quality area.

- Opening and treating product non-conformities found during manufacturing processes through Wabtec's used tools.
