About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Advisor to join the Stringing Team on the HumeLink East project. This role will play a key part in ensuring that all stringing activities for the 500kV transmission line are delivered to the highest quality standards, in line with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
You will work closely with field teams, engineers, and subcontractors to monitor, inspect, and report on quality performance, while driving continuous improvement across the stringing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the project's Quality Management Plan specific to stringing activities.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and surveillance of stringing works to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records, ITPs, and documentation in line with project and client requirements.
• Liaise with construction teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.

Desirable

We're seeking a skilled and qualified Quality Advisor who is eligible to work in Australia. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Previous experience in a Quality Advisor or QA/QC role on large-scale infrastructure or transmission line projects.
• Strong understanding of transmission line construction, particularly stringing operations (330kV or 500kV preferred).
• Familiarity with ITPs, quality documentation, and inspection processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• White Card and current driver's licence (MR or HR preferred).
• Experience working with or alongside Transgrid standards is highly regarded.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment comprehensive medical assessment and national police clearance (arranged by the company), including routine on-site drug and alcohol screening.
