We are an ambitious, internationally leading family company in industrial automation. With around 70 employees, we develop and produce electromagnetic precision drives and web-based servo controllers. Our technologies are used worldwide by leading companies such as Bosch, Swatch Group, Sonion, Roche, and Eli Lilly.

For the goods receipt and metrology department in Rain, we are creating a new key position with a clear operational focus. We are looking for a self-reliant and dependable Quality Specialist Metrology and Goods Receipt (m/f) to start immediately or by arrangement.

You will ensure the quality of our incoming components through precise measurements. Your daily work is operationally focused in the measuring room and in technical coordination with suppliers. You will create measurement programs, define the inspection strategy, and be responsible for the results. Subsequent series measurements will be carried out by two team members according to your specifications.

Specifically

• Execution of incoming goods inspections on mechanical precision components
• Independent measurement using a Zeiss coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and laser interferometer
• Creation, maintenance, and optimization of measurement programs, as well as technical instruction of two female employees for series measurements
• Evaluation, assessment, and documentation of measurement results
• Direct communication with suppliers (technical clarifications, follow-up on measures)
• Close cooperation with purchasing, development, and production

Qualifications

• Technical basic training (polymechanic, mechatronics technician, or similar)
• Experience in industrial metrology and quality assurance
• Professional communication skills and assertiveness in dealing with suppliers
• Confident handling of coordinate measuring machines
• Structured, precise, and self-responsible way of working
