Tasks

Your role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist (m/w/d), you ensure the quality of all email campaigns before they go out to our clients. You are the "last filter" before sending and make sure each campaign is perfect – technically error-free, design-wise appealing, and textually convincing. While working closely with our Design-, Copy-, and Project Management-Team, you provide constructive feedback that leads to continuous improvement.

Your tasks

Quality control copy & content

• Spelling & grammar: You check all texts for errors and ensure German language is error-free
• Style & clarity: You control whether formulations are clear, understandable, and target-group-oriented; you recognize unclear or ambiguous statements and provide improvement suggestions
• Incorrectness of contents: You check for false, missing, or misleading information, outdated offers, prices, dates, and contact details
• Vorgaben-Einhaltung: You control whether customer briefing and all customer requirements are met (e.g., specific demands, brand guidelines, messaging)
• Call-to-Action: You ensure clear action prompts are present and correctly linked

Quality control design

• Bildauswahl: You check whether images are thematically fitting, not too generic, and important details are recognizable
• Formatierung & Konsistenz: You control font styles, colors, spacing, and layouts for consistency; you recognize distorted or incorrectly displayed graphics
• Fehlende Inhalte: You check for completeness: placeholders, CTAs, product images, and other design-relevant elements are present
• Vorgaben-Einhaltung: You ensure design briefing and customer requirements are met (e.g., corporate design, specific layout requirements)

Quality control technology

• Link-Validierung: You check whether all links are correct and lead to the right URL
• Inhaltliche Fehler: You check for technically error-prone content (e.g., broken placeholders, incorrect variables, incorrectly inserted links)
• Upload & Versand-Prozess: You document upload failures and technical errors in the upload process (Filestage/Klaviyo) and resolve them immediately
• Funktionalität: You test the campaign on all relevant devices and email clients

Organization & Reporting

• You maintain structured QA protocols, documenting all found errors
• You prioritize errors by severity and provide clear, constructive feedback to responsible teams
• You track error trends and provide regular feedback for quality improvement
• You communicate with designers, copywriters, and project managers to ensure errors are quickly resolved
• You ensure campaigns are only released when they meet all QA criteria

Qualification

What you bring

• A keen eye for details and high quality standards
• Solid knowledge of spelling and grammar (German is your native language or fluent)
• Understanding of good copywriting and design
• Basic understanding of email marketing and technical processes
• Structure and reliability – you document thoroughly and systematically
• Able to provide constructive critical feedback (communication on eye level!)
• Affinity for communication and tracking tools
