Quality Inspector (Manufacturing) for High-Tech Drones (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Collaborative Worker (m/w/d) to join our manufacturing team as a Quality Inspector in the production of drones.

Tasks

Your Tasks

• You conduct intermediate and final inspections of components, assemblies, and systems.
• You monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards in manufacturing.
• You create inspection plans, inspection protocols, and quality documentation.
• You analyze and correct internal and external quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• You work on the continuous improvement of quality processes and production workflows (e.g. after 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA).
• You support production and manufacturing of drones.
• You work closely with development, production, procurement, and project management to ensure comprehensive quality assurance – including system integration.

Qualification

Your Profile

• You have a technical education (e.g. industrial mechanic, mechatronics engineer, electronics engineer), further training as a technician or quality manager, or a degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or business engineering.
• You have knowledge of quality standards and methods, e.g. product safety guidelines.
• You are experienced in handling test equipment and tools: measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines, software tools, and reading and interpreting inspection plans, tool management, and calibration.
• You bring teamwork, communication skills, and a high level of self-initiative and quality awareness with you.
• You possess analytical thinking, accuracy, solution competence, caution, sense of responsibility, and assertiveness (especially in cases of complaints or escalations).
• Ideal candidates have experience in project management and an auditor training.
• You have good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.

About Us

The Argus Interception GmbH has been offering since 2023 with its headquarters in Rotenburg (Wümme) an innovative and currently unique solution for the safe interception of unauthorized drones. The heart of the High-Performance C-UAS System is the intercept drone with integrated network, which together with the ground station monitors the defined airspace, automatically intercepts and captures unauthorized drones, and deposits them for evidence purposes.

We protect critical infrastructure from aerial threats using our system.
