Quality Inspector (m/f/d) Quality Assurance - Plastic and Metal

Full Time Entry Level

Job description

Laudenbach Formtechnik is a medium-sized precision manufacturing company in Gosheim am Heuberg – specializing for over 35 years in technical injection molded parts, gears, and drive solutions for customers in robotics, sensor technology, automotive, and building technology.

Development, toolmaking, and series production are all under one roof here. For you, this means: You don't inspect anonymous parts, but see how they are made – and in case of a deviation, you speak directly with the colleagues who built the tool or set up the machine.

For our team of 35, we are looking for reinforcement in quality assurance: someone who looks closely, enjoys practical work, and has technical understanding. Whether you have just completed your training, want to switch to QA as a machine operator or setter, or already have inspection experience – more important than the path taken is that you work carefully and take responsibility for your results.

Tasks

  • Measuring and inspecting our plastic and metal parts using common testing and measuring equipment as well as a coordinate measuring machine
  • Series-accompanying quality inspections according to our inspection plans and instructions
  • Perform incoming goods inspection according to existing inspection plans
  • Document and evaluate measurement results, identify and communicate deviations
  • Issue production releases if the inspected components are compliant
  • Keep an eye on testing equipment: management, regular control, and calibration
  • Process complaints – both internal and with suppliers and customers – and participate in root cause analysis
  • Gradually take on further QA topics: co-designing inspection plans, initial sample inspection reports, requalifications, audits

Qualifications

  • Completed technical training – preferably in a metal or plastic processing trade, a comparable qualification is also suitable
  • You can confidently read technical drawings and tolerance specifications and can inspect components accordingly
  • Experience with measuring and testing equipment; coordinate measuring technology is a plus, but not a must
  • Initial professional experience in quality assurance is welcome, but not a must – we will also train you if you are coming directly from training or want to make the move to QA as a machine operator
  • A meticulous and reliable way of working, especially when it comes to measurement results and documentation
  • You enjoy working independently, but just as naturally coordinate with production and toolmaking
  • Knowledge of CAQ systems as well as confident use of a PC and common office applications

Benefits

  • Regular day shift, approx. 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM – no shift changes
  • Fuel voucher of €50 monthly, tax-free
  • 30 days of vacation
  • Company pension plan
  • eBike leasing
  • Ergonomic workstation
  • Thorough onboarding and short distances to production, toolmaking, and management
  • A varied range of tasks with a lot of personal responsibility and a direct connection to the product

You won't find a monotonous inspection station here: measuring, inspecting, documenting, problem-solving – and in between, always a trip to production if something isn't right. Flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes, and a down-to-earth, collegial team are part of our daily work.

The position is to be filled full-time starting January 1, 2027. However, we are also open to an earlier start. Thorough training and handover are planned.

We look forward to receiving your application – even if you don't yet meet every point of the profile. Technical understanding, diligence, and the willingness to take responsibility for the quality of our products are decisive for us.
