Quality Management Representative / QMB (m/w/d)

PAPACKS Sales GmbH, a future-oriented company in packaging production with its headquarters in Cologne, is looking for an engaged Quality Management Representative / QMB (m/w/d).

Tasks

As QMB, you are the technical conscience of our production. You report directly to the management board and have full backing to implement quality standards.

• Safeguarding Standards: You are responsible for maintaining and developing our QM system, particularly with regard to the BRC Standard, ISO 9001, and HACCP.
• Action Authority: You monitor production not only – you intervene. You have the authority to suspend production and products in case of quality deviations.
• Audit Management: You plan and conduct audits, both internally and externally, as well as accompany customer visits.
• Change & Reclamation: You manage the Change Control process and handle customer and supplier complaints until the root cause is analyzed.
• Knowledge Transfer: You create procedure guidelines, train employees, and ensure that quality is anchored in the team's mindset.

Qualification

We are looking for personality and expertise. You don't have to be a process mechanic as long as you have technical understanding and QM blood in your veins.

• Vocational Training: Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., process mechanics, food technology) or equivalent studies.
• Experience: Funded professional experience in quality assurance, preferably in a food processing company or the packaging industry.
• Certifications: Further education as a Quality Representative / Auditor (TÜV/VDA) is mandatory.
• Know-how: Secure knowledge of HACCP, BRC (or IFS Food) and ISO 9001.
• Mindset: You are assertive, communicative, and work structured. You find solutions, not excuses.
• Languages: Secure German; English language skills are an asset.
