Qualified Conductor (m/w/d) FlixTrain

Note: We do not offer a lateral entry or training for this position, but rather seek qualified and trained conductors for long-distance rail operations.

About the role:

• Monitor the safe transportation of our passengers along the entire route
• Be a point of contact for passengers and offer excellent service on board
• Control Fare tickets and support ticket sales in the train
• Accompany the coupling and uncoupling of carriages, as well as the positioning of the train park
• Conduct independent technical inspections, such as carriage checks and brake tests
• Shape a positive travel experience for our guests
• Sustain the continuous improvement of our service and operational processes

About you:

• You have a completed qualification as train staff (conductor/conductress)
• You already possess the qualification for brake tests and carriage inspections (refresher courses possible), and are familiar with PC usage
• You bring very good German language skills (at least B2 level) and initial English language skills are an advantage
• Night stay readiness: You enjoy the opportunity to travel nationwide for professional and private purposes – Flix takes care of transportation, accommodation, and meals
• Travel readiness: You get the chance to travel freely throughout Germany for both professional and personal reasons
• Schedule work: Individual shifts, such as night shifts, weekends, or public holidays, are not a problem for you
• You are a service-oriented and communication-strong person who always presents yourself well, even in stressful situations, and maintains calmness and overview
