Job description

Job Title: Social Worker (Children) Location : Durham Working Hours: Hybrid Rate : £239.43 per day (Umbrella) and £181.02 (PAYE) Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting experienced Qualified Social Workers to join a busy team at a Durham based within the Child Protection team at the daily rate of 239.43 (Umbrella) and £181.02 (PAYE). Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities as a Child Protection Social Worker include conducting assessments and investigations related to child protection cases, working closely with children, young people and their families to identify and address their needs, and providing support and guidance to help them achieve positive outcomes. This will involve working with a range of stakeholders, including children, young people, parents, carers, and other professionals, to develop and implement effective plans to keep children safe and promote their well-being. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly and be able to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing the needs of the children and young people in their care. Requirements: Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent. Experience of working with children and young people in a social work setting. Ability to work flexibly and be able to adapt to changing circumstances. Ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including children, young people, parents, carers, and other professionals.
