BADI WA SHAMS PTY LTD T/A QUANTUM MECHANIX is seeking an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team in Fairfield East. This is a full-time position offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a professional automotive environment.
Position Details
- Position: Qualified Motor Mechanic
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Location: Fairfield East, NSW
- Salary Range: $79,000 - $83,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair motor vehicles to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake services, and suspension repairs Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports
- Identify mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Must maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs
- Maintain a clean and organise work environment
Essential Requirements
- Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
- Valid driver's license - Light and Heavy
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage the workshop
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and can do attitude
- Experience in diesel engines is must
- Air-conditioning repair and installation
