The role will entail This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students, helping them to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of history. Role Responsibilities: Planning and delivering high-quality lessons to students aged 11-16, teaching a range of history topics, including GCSE and A-level. Developing and maintaining schemes of work, lesson plans and assessments to ensure student progress and achievement. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies. Providing feedback and guidance to students, parents and colleagues. Supporting the development of students' critical thinking, research and communication skills. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and achievement. Participating in staff meetings, training and development activities, and other school events as required.
