The organization
This is where you will work

This international organization develops and produces coatings, paint, and special materials. The location in Tiel focuses on packaging coatings. These coatings are used for metal packaging, such as beer and soft drink cans.

The factory produces, among other things, coatings for the inside of cans. Coatings that protect the outside and provide appearance are also produced. The customers are large producers within the international packaging industry.

Quality is always paramount here. That is why the QC laboratory plays an important role in the production process. As a QC Operator, you work together with colleagues from Production, Supply Chain, and Quality. You report to the Quality Manager.

The role
This is what you will do

As a QC Operator, you will inspect raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products. You will take samples, prepare them, and perform various laboratory analyses. You will follow fixed test methods and clear work instructions.

You will plan the analyses based on the production schedule. Some checks cannot wait. Therefore, you set the right priorities daily.

After each analysis, you will accurately record the results. You will process data on QC cards and in Oracle. Then you will approve or reject samples. This can involve water, raw materials, products during the process, and fully finished products.

Do you discover a deviation? Then you look beyond just the measurement result. You will gather documentation, initiate a quality incident, and assist with the root cause analysis. You will also determine and register possible corrections.

In addition, you will also be involved with:

• Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment
• Keeping the laboratory clean and organized according to 5S
• Managing and ordering consumables
• Performing Industrial Hygiene Monitoring
• Managing Material Safety Data Sheets
• Training and assessing colleagues and backup Operators
• Initiating and guiding improvement projects

The offer

• A salary between € 3,000 and € 3,500 gross per month
• A shift allowance of 13%
• A salary between approximately € 3,400 and € 4,000 including allowance
• A workweek of an average of 36.25 hours
• Working in a clear 2-shift system

• A travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometer

What we expect from you
