QC Engineer – Fresher (CRGO Steel Industry)

Vilas Transcore Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our team in Vadodara. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate to launch a career in the specialized CRGO (Cold Rolled Grain Oriented) Steel manufacturing sector.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated individual to assist our Quality Control team in the inspection, testing, and documentation of all materials and processes. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and exposure to advanced quality systems in a precision-driven, process-heavy steel manufacturing environment, ensuring strict compliance with internal and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The QC Engineer will receive training and be responsible for the following tasks:

• Material Inspection: Assist in the thorough quality inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished CRGO products (sheets, coils, laminations).

• Process Support: Support the implementation of quality control checkpoints and procedures across key manufacturing equipment, including Slitting Lines, Cut-to-Length Lines, Annealing Furnaces, and Core Cutting Machines.

• Measurements: Conduct precise dimensional checks, surface inspections, and defect analysis using standard QC instruments and tools.

• Specialized Testing: Learn and assist with critical product testing methods, including Core Loss Measurement, Insulation Resistance, and Surface Finish evaluation, which are essential for CRGO products.

• Record Keeping: Maintain proper, accurate documentation and records as required by ISO 9001 and internal quality management standards.

• Tool Management: Support the calibration, proper use, and maintenance of all QC instruments and gauges.

• Deviation Reporting: Coordinate proactively with Production and Process teams to identify, report, and track quality deviations or non-conformances.

• Technical Interpretation: Learn to accurately interpret complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer quality requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Education & Aptitude: B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant field and a strong willingness to learn and develop a career in quality control.

• Exprience : 2+ years exprience in CRGO/lamination sheet

• Technical Basics: Basic knowledge of quality control tools, measurement techniques, and the ability to read engineering drawings.
