QA Testing Engineer (Remote - Full-time)

Hi, we are looking for you as a QA Testing Engineer (Remote) for our Shopify agency!

We work with strong D2C brands like Snocks, LiveFresh or Rosental on their online shops and design layouts, develop features and advise around Shopify.

Tasks

• End-to-End Testing (UX / UI) of new features within the development process - before go-live
• Analyze app functions and requirements early in the development cycle and derive test cases
• Define, structure and document test cases, test procedures and acceptance criteria
• Ensure user-friendly operation of our Shopify apps - in close collaboration with design, product and development
• Validate technical workflows, edge cases and feature completeness
• Capture, reproduce and report bugs in a structured manner - including clear steps for reproduction and prioritization
• Actively contribute feedback to the development process to iteratively improve quality

Qualifications

• Strong ability to put yourself in the user's perspective, question flows and identify weaknesses
• Structured way of working with high diligence and attention to detail
• Good eye for design, consistency and intuitive usability
• Very good communication skills - both in exchange with product, development and design team
• Willingness and ability to familiarize yourself with complex technical processes and product logic
• Understanding of agile development processes (e.g. Scrum or Kanban) is an advantage
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g. Linear, Jira, GitHub Issues) is desirable
• Basic knowledge in the field of eCommerce or Shopify is a plus, but not a must
