As QA Test Engineer (m/w/d), you develop robust test strategies and bring our end-to-end test automation to the next level. With your expertise, you ensure that new features not only function but also remain stable in the long term. Together with Quality Assurance, Development, and Support, you build a test infrastructure that guarantees quality – before the code goes live.

Aufgaben

• You develop and maintain our end-to-end test automation based on TypeScript and Playwright, including implementing robust test strategies and scalable test architectures.
• You design scalable, performant, and well-documented test suites and ensure their stability, maintainability, and continuous optimization.
• You integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines, define Quality Gates, and ensure that deployments are reliably secured.
• You bring your expertise in test automation, type safety, and best practices to create a sustainable and performant test infrastructure.
• You support the modernization of our test suites by migrating Python-based tests to TypeScript and develop strategies for a seamless transition.
• You create self-contained test evaluations and test cases based on requirements and user workflows.
• Through automated test triggers at push, PR, and merge events, you ensure that our processes remain efficient and error-resistant.
• You actively contribute to risk minimization through methodical debugging.
• In an agile, interdisciplinary team, you work closely with QA, Development, and Customer Success, sharing your knowledge to continuously improve the technical excellence of the team.

Qualifikation

At least 3 years of experience in professional software development or QA automation show that you can master complex challenges.

You bring at least 2 years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript – not limited to frontend and especially with structured, maintainable code.

In addition, you have at least 1 year of practical experience in end-to-end test automation with modern frameworks such as Playwright.

We also expect fundamental knowledge in:

• TypeScript and safe handling of type systems, interfaces, generics, and asynchronous programming
• Node.js and npm/yarn for package management and script execution
• E2E testing concepts like user flows, edge cases, test data management, and stabilizing flaky tests
• Git and version control as well as practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)

You value quality and develop tests that stand out through best practices and clear structure.

Your very good German skills enable smooth communication in the team and with stakeholders, allowing you to share ideas effectively and achieve goals together.
