QA Specialist

Position: QA Specialist Overview: As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing processes. You will collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements, develop test plans, and execute test cases, all aimed at maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement test plans based on project requirements, ensuring thorough testing of software features and functionality. Develop and execute test cases to validate software performance, usability, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements. Conduct thorough testing of software products, including functional, performance, and usability testing. Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data to ensure comprehensive testing of software products. Ensure compliance with testing standards, procedures, and best practices. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related field. Strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and testing tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Certification in software testing, quality assurance, or related field is a plus.
