QA Software Testing Engineer (m/w/d)

As an extension to our team, we are looking for an experienced quality engineer for manual testing.

Your Tasks

• As QA Software Testing Engineer, you will support us in further developing our existing infrastructure and optimizing our applications through intensive manual dynamic and static tests.
• You will support the development team with daily tasks by planning, executing, and documenting various test scenarios for feature development and error correction.
• You will design and set up manual regression, smoke, and release tests.
• You will build our QA software test system, support, and improve it by managing test specifications, test executions, and reports.
• Throughout the entire process, you will be in close exchange with other development teams, product owners, and group leaders to support the cross-functional development process.

Your Strengths

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• You possess fundamental technical knowledge in the areas of SDLC, software testing, WebUI testing, and test automation.
• In addition to experience with Python, Pytest, Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Postman, knowledge of Allure, Bash, Linux, Raspberry Pi, and GUI test tools would be advantageous.
• You have proven experience in writing test specifications, planning test executions, and creating test reports.
• You have several years of experience testing REST APIs and applications in embedded Linux environments.
• Practical knowledge of MQTT, network systems, and HIL tests is required; knowledge of performance and load tests as well as tools like JMeter would be desirable.
• You possess excellent communication skills in English; German would be an advantage.
