QA Tester
Optimile is a leading software company specializing in digital solutions for the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry. Our innovative platforms empower Charging Point Operators (CPOs) and Mobility Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver seamless and efficient EV charging experiences.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to strengthen our team. You will have a direct impact on the stability and reliability of our software, ensuring that every release meets the highest quality standards and delivers a flawless experience to our users.
About the role
You’ll become part of our Product Team, reporting to the Functional Domain Lead, Victor. In this position, you won’t just be executing tests, you’ll take ownership of the full QA cycle: from creating test plans and running both manual and automated tests, to documenting results and suggesting improvements. Working across different teams, you’ll act as a critical link in guaranteeing our product remains robust, user-friendly, and future-proof.
Your responsibilities
- Create test plans and strategies
- Execute manual tests and stress tests
- Maintain and expand automated testing frameworks
- Document testing processes and procedures
- Report on QA coverage and execution results
- Contribute to improving the overall QA strategy and ways of working
What you bring
Must have knowledge and competencies:
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Strong attention to detail to ensure bugs are identified and prevented
- Proactive in acquiring new knowledge when projects require it
- Clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Understanding of the basic principles of software testing in an agile environment
Key soft skills:
- Critical thinking and the ability to provide constructive feedback
- Eagerness to learn and flexibility to adapt to new methods
- Willingness to take on both technical and analytical tasks
- Strong team player, motivated by collaboration and shared goals
- Proactive in identifying risks, raising concerns, and suggesting improvements
Nice-to-have knowledge (or willing to learn on the job):
- Basic principles of CI/CD
- Experience with Selenium and Playwright
- Knowledge of Python
- API testing
- SQL
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
- Relevant QA testing experience
- Fluency in Dutch and English
