Requirements

We are looking for a Manual Tester to join our quality and development team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our applications and products meet the highest standards of quality through detailed manual testing, documentation of findings, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

1. Educación:

• Bachelor's or technical degree in Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, or related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role.
• Experience in testing web, mobile, or desktop applications.
  

• Solid knowledge of manual testing techniques.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Ability to identify and document errors in detail.
• Basic understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  

• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactivity and ability to work in a team.

Deseable:

• Basics of automated testing.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL queries.
• Certifications related to software testing, such as ISTQB.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Review and analyze product requirements to identify possible test scenarios.
2. Design, document, and execute detailed manual test cases.
3. Identify, report, and document errors, failures, or inconsistencies in applications or products.
4. Collaborate with developers and other teams to understand functionalities and resolve detected problems.
5. Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing on applications.
6. Ensure that products meet functional and quality specifications.
7. Participate in sprint review meetings and provide feedback on findings.
8. Create status reports and test results for interested parties.
9. Suggest improvements to the testing process and overall product quality.
